GAS MAD S2-8D2 Subwoofer 8" 2x2 Ohm

The GAS MAD S2-8D2 is an 8" MAD S2 series subwoofer with dual 2+2 ohm voice coils, rated at 250 W RMS (500 W max) with a 25-250 Hz frequency response.

• Injection moulded polypropylene (IMPP) cone, made to withstand resonance and membrane break-up
• USG (Unity Surround & Gasket) construction around the cone, to optimise linear movement and the cone displacement area for accuracy
• DVS (Dual Ventilation System) for reduced distortion and increased heat dissipation
• Woven tinsel leads to avoid pop sounds and improve durability
• Thiele/Small parameters suited to sealed, vented and bandpass enclosures
• MAD-shaped steel basket
• Dual 2+2 ohm 51mm voice coil made of PCW (Pure Copper Wire)
• 3D IMPP dust cap, made from the same material as the cone
