FKNLOUD LIMITED - Warranty Policy
1. Scope of Warranty
1.1 FKNLOUD LIMITED warrants that products purchased directly from FKNLOUD LIMITED shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of original purchase.
1.2 This warranty applies strictly to the original purchaser and is non transferable.
1.3 Proof of purchase issued by FKNLOUD LIMITED is required for all warranty claims.
1.4 Products not purchased directly from FKNLOUD LIMITED, including but not limited to items acquired via third party resellers, marketplaces or private sales, must be returned to the original place of purchase. FKNLOUD LIMITED does not provide warranty support for such items.
1.5 This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK legislation.
2. Nature of Coverage
2.1 This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship only.
2.2 This warranty does not cover any failure, damage or defect arising from:
a. Misuse, abuse or neglect
b. Incorrect installation or failure to follow manufacturer specifications
c. Improper system configuration or tuning
d. Overpowering, clipping, distortion or incorrect amplifier setup
e. Operation outside of rated electrical, thermal or impedance specifications
f. Incorrect enclosure design, unsuitable port tuning or lack of appropriate filtering in speaker applications
g. Water ingress, corrosion, environmental exposure or contamination
h. Physical damage, impact damage or damage caused by foreign objects
i. Voltage spikes, unstable charging systems, defective alternators or inadequate vehicle electrical systems
j. Use in competition, demonstration or extreme operating environments where stress exceeds normal consumer use
2.3 Damage consistent with voice coil burn, thermal overload, mechanical over excursion, bottoming of components, reverse polarity connection, overcurrent, overvoltage, or operation below minimum rated impedance shall be deemed non manufacturing faults and may invalidate the warranty.
3. Inspection and Determination
3.1 All returned products are subject to technical inspection and testing by FKNLOUD LIMITED or its authorised agents.
3.2 The determination of whether a defect is a manufacturing fault shall be made solely by FKNLOUD LIMITED following inspection.
3.3 Where inspection confirms that failure has resulted from any excluded cause listed in this policy, the warranty claim may be rejected. In such cases, return carriage and any diagnostic charges may be payable by the customer.
4. Tampering and Modification
4.1 Any product that has been opened, modified, repaired, dismantled or tampered with by any person not authorised by FKNLOUD LIMITED may void this warranty.
4.2 Removal, alteration or defacement of serial numbers or identification labels shall void the warranty.
5. Remedy
5.1 Where a valid manufacturing defect is confirmed within the warranty period, FKNLOUD LIMITED shall, at its discretion:
a. Repair the product
b. Replace the product with the same or equivalent model
c. Provide a refund in accordance with applicable UK consumer law
5.2 The remedy provided under this warranty is limited to the product itself and does not extend to installation costs, removal costs, vehicle damage, loss of use, loss of earnings or any other indirect or consequential losses.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, FKNLOUD LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage arising from the use, misuse or inability to use the product.
6.2 Nothing in this policy shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law.
7. Installation
7.1 Products must be installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and accepted industry practice.
7.2 FKNLOUD LIMITED strongly recommends professional installation by a competent installer experienced in high current automotive electrical systems.
7.3 Incorrect installation or system configuration which contributes to failure may invalidate this warranty.
