DLS RCS6.25 6.5"/165mm 2-way Component Speakers

The DLS RCS6.25 is a slim 6.5"/165mm 2-way component speaker kit from the Reference series, with a woofer that has just 41 mm mounting depth. It is developed for installations where space is limited.

• 25 mm silk dome tweeter, vented through both the magnet and backplate
• Small acoustic chamber with aperiodic damping softens pressure build-up and suppresses resonances at the lower end of the tweeter's range
• Woofer and tweeter each have a dedicated 12 dB/octave crossover, built with MKT capacitors, air-core coils and MOX resistors

Good to know

• Each driver is tuned for its own range, which also simplifies installation.
• In many cars the woofer is mounted in the door and the tweeter in the dashboard or A-pillar. Separate crossovers let both be connected through the car's factory wiring without additional cabling.
• The same approach works when the tweeter is mounted in the door or in custom installations, as the crossovers can simply be wired in parallel.

The RCS6.25 aims for natural, balanced sound in a form factor that suits places where many speakers will not fit.
