Designed to run from small desktop computer amplifier outputs or similar, they are extremely compact. Whilst they obviously don't have much bass extension due to the small ABS cabinets they can still hold 150Hz fairly convinicingly at sensible volumes. Combined with the ultra light non-pressed paper cones this offers a pleasingly warm sound which is a change to the usual harsh, completely digital sounding box speakers that are on the market.
